Description:
Hapa is a new series by and for Asian-Americans. Hapa follows Graham Yamamoto, a mixed-race member of the Los Angeles yakuza, framing the trials and tribulations of being a hapa in a satirical and, at times, absurdist context. Hapa the series stands up to the idea that others have a say in what you are. Production states: "Yoi (よい). It means good. We are a collective and production house dedicated to highlighting diverse and cultural stories."

While he doesn't disapprove of Graham for being a hapa, he does take some pleasure in ordering him around whenever he needs an ego boost. Must speak be able to handle scripted Japanese. |
Lance | Male | Asian | 40-60 | Eccentric and authentic. Boss of the yakuza family branch Graham belongs to, Lance can be at times stoic and other times bumbling.
