The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts is holding auditions for local Philadelphia-based Actors and Dancers to cast in our upcoming PIFA World Premiere production of CRISTAL PALACE by Compagnie Transe Express. Auditions are by appointment only on Tues, March 13 and Thur, March 15. Seeking 18 non-Equity comedic actors who move well and dancers (all forms including ballroom/social dance styles). All sizes, ethnicities, gender identities, ages 18 and older are encouraged to apply. The cast will interact with the audience, dancing under an outdoor chandelier. The roles require neither speaking nor singing. The performance venue will be uncovered, outdoors, on grass and natural, uneven earth surface. All performers will be paid. Philadelphia-local performers only - no housing or travel stipend available. Rehearsals are May 27 - 31. Performances are June 1 -10.
