Three Crows is holding auditions for our fall show, Language of Angels by Naomi Iizuka. Language of Angels begins in a cave on the edge of a rural North Carolina town, where a teenaged girl once went missing. One of nine friends is responsible for her death, yet her ghostly, echoed cries will haunt each of them forever. Woven together are the parallel paths each friend takes that lead to their own tragic fates. Hidden beneath the scary, mysterious exterior, Language of Angels is ultimately a touching and deeply heartfelt play. Director: Kristin Davis

SEEKING:
7 adult actors in their 30s or can play 30s. 1 adult actor to play a teenager. Actors of all ethnicities, gender identities, and abilities are encouraged to submit.

BREAKDOWN:
-Seth: male-identifying, 30s, Celie's boyfriend, mourns her deeply

-Celie: female-identifying, 15 (ideally a young looking person in their 20s), goes missing, haunts the play with her presence and voice, Seth's girlfriend

-Kendra: female-identifying, 30s, moves north to escape

-JB: male-identifying, 30s, grows up to become the Sheriff

-Michael: male-identifying, 30s, stranger who meets Danielle and Allison, morphs into Tommy, Danielle's ex-fiance

-Allison: female-identifying, 30s, along with Danielle becomes a drug-addicted stripper, Billy's girlfriend

-Danielle: female-identifying, 30s, along with Allison becomes a drug-addicted stripper, mourns Tommy and Celie

-Billy: male-identifying, 30s, Allison's boyfriend, Tommy's best friend, in prison for murder
