Description:

The SingEasy is accepting headshots and resumes to join the cast of its upcoming open-ended run at Room 13 at the Old Chicago Inn. We are looking for musical theater trained actors who also have professional improv experience. This show is semi-scripted and you are expected to interact and socialize with patrons in character. Along with the parts listed below, we are looking for an Associate Director and Tec/ Stage Managers.

LUCKY: Our Host of The SingEasy. Actor must be able to command a room. Hosting and stand-up experience is a plus.

BURT HUDSON: The "Belmont Baritone", star of the stage and screen. Leading man type.

BAILEY O'CONNOR: The "Skokie Screwball", The SingEasy resident comic. Fozzy Bear meets Danny Kaye.

VELMA ST.CYR: "The Chicago Contuse", "The Vamp" aka Jessica Rabbit with the comedy chops of Lucille Ball.

DAISY NORTHBROOK: New to the big city, bright eyed. Early Judy Garland, Debbie Reynolds

PAISLEY: (Our Co-Host) Bar Staff at Room 13, Tries to keep this bunch in line.

FEMALE COVER: For Daisy, Velma, and Paisley

MALE COVER: For Lucky, Burt, and Bailey

Associate Director: Working closely with the show director to keep the show integrity and vision. Previous direction of musical theater preferred.

Tec/ Stage Managers: Main task will comprise of running the show. Knowledge of Keynote and overall understanding of using and/or troubleshooting computer programs and software is a must.
