Description:

Compass Creative Dramatics usually works with kids aged 3-18. Once a year, we look for silly / quirky / kid-at-heart adults (21+) to perform our fundraiser performance! Our adaptations include singing and movement for all of our actors, but don't worry - it's usually intended for student performers, so nothing too challenging! Actors of all genders and ethnicities are encouraged to audition for all roles.

Cinderella (Saves the World!): When the local superhero league announces it's looking for new members, Cinderella is eager to try out so she can make the world a better place. The only problem is (unlike her lazy stepsisters) she wasn't born with a superpower! But a group of friendly scientists have a few tricks up their sleeves, and with their assistance (plus the help of some curious kittens and a very mysterious group of elderly folk) Cinderella just might find a way to save the world!

Auditions will be held at 4001 N. Ravenswood Compass Creative Dramatics Studio, Suite 603B on August 18th 2:00-6:00 and August 19th 7:00 and 10:00.

Time Commitment:
Table read will take place Monday September 9th and rehearsals will occur between September 22nd and the performance on October 7th.
Rehearsals will be at 4001 N Ravenswood and the performance will be at Beat Kitchen in Roscoe Village. Some actors will be called for a promotional photoshoot on Sunday August 25th.

Material To Prepare:
We'll send sides with confirmed audition slot. Please prepare provided sides and, if you choose, 16-32 bars to be sung a capella.
