Kris Kringle​ - Male - He is Santa Claus. Likeable, firm caring, Loves children.

Bag Person - Male or Female - at Thanksgiving Parade

Rich Person - Male or Female - at Thanksgiving Parade

Shellhammer - Male or Female - Assistant to Doris, Friendly, efficient

Doris Walker - Female - Personnel manager at Macy's; Susan's mother, all work, no play

Susan Walker - female child - Doris' daughter, Precocious, She doesn't believe.

Fred Gayley - Male - Friend/Neighbor to Doris and Susan; Lawyer; Kringle's defense attorney, all around good guy

Drunken Santa - Male - employee of Macy's

Macy - Male or Female - Owner and manager of Macy's Department Store

Sawyer - Male or Female - Macy's vocational guidance counselor, character role requiring great comic timing

Bloomingdale - Male or Female - Owner and manager of Bloomingdale's Department Store

Judge Harper - Male or Female - Presides over Kringle' hearing; Judicial, likable, a bit political

Finley - Male or Female -Baliff in Judge Harper's courtroom

Mara - Male or Female - Prosecuting attorney; somewhat jaded, sticks to the letter of the law.

Halloran - Male or Female - Judge Harpers political campaign manager

Duncan - Male or Female - antelope keeper at the Central Park Zoo

Mara Jr. - Male or Female - Prosecuting attorney's child.

Al - Male or Female - Postal Employee

Lou - Male or Female - Postal Employee

Elves - Male or Female

Jurors - Male and Female

With the exception of Kris Kringle, Drunken Santa, Doris, Susan and Fred all roles are non gender specific and may be cast with male or female actors at any age.
