Description:

The Theater Lab, a District 214 Community Education program, is proud to announce open auditions for The Really Most Sincerely Wonderful Wizard of Oz a new adaptation of the classic story based on the beloved original 1905 book by Frank Baum; while many of the familiar characters and story elements all audiences know remain intact, this production contains characters and scenes no audience has ever seen. The Theater Lab encourages performers of all backgrounds and experience to audition. Friendly, collaborative-minded company. Auditions, rehearsals and performances will be held at Forest View Educational Center, located at 2121 S Goebbert Rd in Arlington Heights, IL. Rehearsals start October 7, 2019 evenings and some weekends. The performances are scheduled on December 6, 7 & 8

Auditions are scheduled in half hour blocks from 7:30-10:30 pm on September 17 with call backs on September 19.

Time Commitment:
Rehearsals - October / November / December (nights & some weekends)

Shows - December 6 (7:30) December 7 (2:30 & 7:30) December 8 (2:30)

Auditions are group auditions with cold reading from the script.
