How Black Is Too Black takes a look into the day of an average African American in modern day America. Each episode focuses on the untold stories of prejudice, racism, and inequality based off of assumptions, stereotypes, and looks alone. The intersections of race, culture, hair texture, sexual orientation, class, and colorism, are highlighted through the lives of Taina, Egypt, Mai-Lynn, Michael, and many more as they navigate life and grapple with the question of How Black is Too Black.
