Breakdown:
Role Name | Gender | Ethnicity | Age Range | Description |

Toby Welsh | Male | Any | 18-22 | Toby is the kind of guy that spends most of his free time hanging out in his dorm. He’s an avid gamer and loves horror movies. On the looks side he’s nothing remarkable, though he’s handsome according to his parents. He’s not very athletic, but not severely out of shape either. He’s friendly, but not exceptionally outgoing. He does alright in large social settings, but only really connects with select people that are on the same wavelength as him. This is where his personality really shines; where the witty humor and the quick banter comes out. Before the beginning of the story, he takes a chance and goes for drinks with Chelsea, a girl he met at a party the night before. When the film starts, we catch up with the two of them hitting it off at a bar and becoming more comfortable with each other. Toby doesn’t have very many experiences like this, so he’s mostly surprised that the night is going as well as it is. It helps that Chelsea shares his love of horror movies and scary stories. He’d like to think he’s the kind of person that would protect another from harm, and tonight might be the night that puts that notion to the test. |
Chelsea Valencia | Female | Any | 18-22 | One word to describe Chelsea would be a firecracker. She’s very out-going and can slip into any conversation with any person naturally. She’s bubbly and flirty in healthy doses. She’s tall and lean and enjoys a good cup of fro-yo every now and then. She’s quick on the joke and even quicker on the comeback. However, underneath this warm and chatty exterior is a dark secret. Her quirky disposition towards Toby at the bar is just armor, and when he’s not looking, Chelsea takes cautious glances over her shoulder. She’s running from something. An unspeakable terror that she’s tried to escape time and time again. It’s made her a fighter, but tonight at the bar, she just wants to feel like her old self again. To experience what it’s like to have an intelligent conversation with someone that shares her interests and passions. Though she’s welcoming, she doesn’t ever really trust people anymore because of her past. But somehow, Toby is different. Tonight could be the night she’s finally free, or it could be her nightmare fully realized |
