With a unique sense of style, Ashley had been dating Kat for 6 months when Kat brought her onto her YouTube channel in a video about “Music Therapy.” Their cute, quirky chemistry made them a hit and fans loved them together and encouraged them to do more videos. Thus, their social media following grew as “Kashley.” However, they began fighting, their relationship grew abusive, and 2 years later they broke up. But Ashley insisted to keep the channel going as to not lose the followers (and the money) they were making. Kat reluctantly agreed and so for the past 6 months they both have been faking being the cute, loving couple they once were. They're both actually very good at it, but once the camera is off, its’ game over. Fights. Arguments. Nasty threats. This “couple” is anything but happy. ***INTERNATIONAL ACCENTS are a plus. Musical ability also great, but not necessary. MUST BE available to shoot a teaser on 6/29 or 6/30! |

This is compromised when salacious photos get leaked of her and her new girlfriend, Kori, who is a famous social media influencer. Kori and Perry's relationship is on the DL as Kori's internet fame has come from her relationship with her ex, Ashley. Perry calmly accepts this facade as it also protects her own private life. Perry and Kori were childhood friends. However, once Perry entered high school they grew apart. Kori ended up becoming closer with her brother, Devin, who was part of the “popular” crowd. Perry is the loner-type that focused her energy on sports and good grades, whereas Kori and Devin became the social butterflies. Perry and Kori never had a falling out; they just grew apart. After high school, Kori moved to LA where Perry stayed in their small town of No Hill. They reconnected when Kori and Devin’s friend, Lexi passed away. Perry and Kori attended the funeral, and the lines of communication were re-opened. They began talking more and more and eventually Kori learns that Perry is also gay. (Score!) They both develop feelings for each other - feelings that were probably always idly there. Perry insists to keep things a secret as, unlike Kori, she cannot have her personal life in the public eye. When scandalous photos of them get leaked on the internet by Ashley, Kori’s ex-girlfriend, Perry is mortified. She sees her life crumbling down;…and then, if things can’t get any worse, her brother goes missing. She decides to go out and search for him when he turns up dead. Painted to look like a suicide, Perry doesn’t believe it and takes it upon herself to investigate it further. SERIES REGULAR. (1-2 Shoot days (flexible)) MUST BE COMFORTABLE with suggestive photos (nothing will ever be seen - we’re PG13) and a FaceTime scene where you will be seen in a bra. Possible suggested sexual situations with Kori in Season 2, definitely kissing. Must be able to commit to a possible 3 seasons with flexible shoot dates. |
| JayJay | Male | Any | 20-25 | 25, Cute, flamboyant, outgoing, and a bit dorky, JayJay is our light-hearted character. He’s Kori’s best friend and fellow Social Media influencer with over 1 million followers. He and Kori do collab videos on his channel all the time. He’s super honest, super real, and completely owns who he is and where he’s come from. Coming from a family who kicked him out at 15 years old because he was caught kissing a boy, JayJay has experienced a lot of hate from family, strangers, friends and from himself. His channel started as serving a rebellious, yet therapeutic purpose. He decided to be as out and proud as he could so he could show others just like him that it gets better. He’s a big LGBTQ activist and even had his face on a billboard during Pride. He tries to put a positive, lighthearted spin on sensitive issues and knows that the first step to acceptance is education. Not only does he vlog, but he also does sketch and commentary/reaction videos about current events, movies, and celebrity gossip. He ends up meeting a boy that he is completely smitten with which links him to the main plot more than he’s aware of. SERIES REGULAR.
