Description:
A Trinidadian, who wronged a Caribbean folklore spirit in his womanizing past, must overcome his fear of being a failure as a father to save his son from being trapped by the same spirit who seeks revenge.

| LOULOUZE/ LA'DIABLESSE | Female | African American | 23-29 | Loulouze aka the La'Diablesse is a feminine spirit from Caribbean folklore. According to legend, She is a beautiful woman with an animal hoof as one of her legs; she hides this with her power and under a long flowing dress. Her face is hidden but when revealed, it is half human, half grotesque/rotting. She targets men who are abusive to women, uses her power to implant images into the minds of these lust-filled men and leads them to their deaths. Then she takes their souls and traps them for eternity. In this film, Loulouze upset that Arthur escaped her grasp, has returned, 20 years later, having made her way to America and seeks her revenge on him by capturing his son's attention and taking control of his mind. |
| AMIR BENJAMIN | Male | African American | 19-23 | Amir, the estranged son of Arthur, grew up without his father. He has made attempts to reach out to his father and was rejected/ignored every time. As a result, he has become obsessed with his father. On the surface, he tries not to be like him, even as far as unlearning mannerisms he has. Now, he stands on the edge of the dark precipice, unknowingly flirting with danger as he is in a relationship with the La'Diablesse, who encourages him to confront his father, thereby feeding his obsession and pushing him over the edge. |
| SYLVIA PETERS | Female | African American | 29-35 | Sylvia is a Caribbean woman who migrated to America in the '90s and was able to obtain a green card through a fake marriage scheme. She is the main love interest of Arthur in the States. Sylvia is a firecracker, who speaks her mind and likes getting her way. She also seeks a permanent love relationship with Arthur and tries to push him in that direction, until the US ICE agency threatens her permanent residency status, forcing her to betray him. Like every other Caribbean "immigrant" in America, she is focused on survival and won't let anything jeopardize her status in the US. Love is important to her but comes second to her immigration status. |
