Description:

Each year, Raven's Education Program proudly presents a TYA show on our mainstage as a field trip opportunity for elementary school classrooms. This show follows the character of Aesop on his journey to discovering the moral of the story in such popular fables as The Tortoise and the Hare, The Fox and the Grapes, The Lion and the Mouse, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and many more. This performance involves audience participation, high-energy storytelling, some music and choreography, and interactive talkbacks with the students after the show. Casting non equity actors of all genders and ethnicities for performance tracks and understudy tracks (at least one guaranteed understudy performance).

Pay: Rehearsal stipend and per performance pay.

Time Commitment:
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE (four weeks total, three-four days a week, no weekends):
JANUARY 22 - FEBRUARY 15, most likely late afternoon rehearsals (to be determined) Please submit rehearsal availability.

PERFORMANCE RUN (eight weeks total):
FEBRUARY 18 - MARCH 27 Tuesday-Friday at 10am
