Naomi	Female	Asian	30-45	Naomi is a strong, powerful, and outspoken woman. She is also caring, empathetic, and fun-loving. The life of the party. She does not let cancer take her down. She thinks of others before she thinks of herself. She befriends Jane because she sees that Jane is desperate for friendship, guidance, and hope. Naomi is just the person to give her all that.
Scott	Male	Caucasian	40-55	Scott is a moody, brooding husband. Once a heroic policeman, Scott is now an aging, small-town sheriff who is in constant, chronic pain and who's once happy relationship with his younger wife, Jane, has increasingly gone from bad to worse due to her illness, and his anger issues.
Supervisor	Female	Any	40-60	She is the ultimate rule-follower. What she lacks in humanity is made up in professionalism. She is a mysterious, corporate-type that looks out of place in a world of sick cancer patients.
