Windy City Playhouse is seeking headshot and resume submissions for the role of Emory in THE BOYS IN THE BAND. Directed by Assocaite Artistic Director Carl Menninger.
EMORY - Male-presenting. Early 30s. Emory is probably the most effeminate of the group, and proud of it. A successful interior designer, well-dressed and always poised, Emory embraces a creative lifestyle. Like Michael, he has a quick wit and uses it to "against" friends; unlike Michael, Emory's humor should always be seen as friendly teasing. He's reading them, never actually criticizing.
