The film is about the pressures that black individuals face before interviewing for jobs mainly how we as black individuals have to conform to white societal norms and watering ourselves down in order to appear as "professional" and an acceptable candidate for a job. This film focuses on a black woman as she begins to transform herself in a desperate attempt to become the best candidate. This particular role requires the main actress to have natural hair.
