Description:
In ancient South East Asia, a different world, a different past, where women has been taken as slaves and are now looked upon as less than men. They are not allowed to do anything other than what the men tells them. Achara is on a mission to take vengeance upon the man who raped and killed her young daughter. She seeks guidance from the elderly monk in order to find strength and courage to stand up to the monster that brutally stole her daughter's life.

Achara finds her lifeless body and from there out, she is ready to take on the patriarchal system, she is determined to avenge her daughters' death. |

Karawek and her fellow monks offer shelter and security to escaped slaves and persecuted people and give them hope. Karawek is strong but always in a composed manner. She is wise and holds all answers, she is the one who guides Achara towards enlightenment. |
