Description:
Brian Pastor is adapting and directing City Lit's production of THIRTEEN DAYS by Robert F. Kennedy. It details the strategy sessions in President Kennedy's White House responding to the discovery of Soviet missiles placed in Cuba and aimed at the United States. The cast of the production will be all women. The roles of Robert Kennedy, John F. Kennedy, Robert McNamara, and Adlai Stevenson are already cast.
Seeking: African American women above the age of 35.
Pay: $100 rehearsal stipend, plus $15 per performance. 23 performances. Total compensation: $445
Time Commitment:
First preview is March 6, press opening is March 15, and the show runs through April 18. Rehearsals will begin in mid-to-late January, though a precise date is not yet set. Rehearsals evenings and weekends. Performances Fridays through Sundays, plus two Mondays. No performance Easter Sunday.
Material To Prepare:
The auditions will consist of readings from the script. Sides will be emailed out when appointments are made.
