Description:

The Beverly Arts Center located at 2407 W 111th Street, Chicago, Illinois, announces virtual auditions for The Good Body by Eve Ensler on-going until the show is cast.

UPDATE: Rehearsal and performance dates for The Good Body are still set for July 20 - August 24. There is a possibility of creating something virtual if that becomes necessary. We are currently accepting video submissions.

The Story: A play about the relationship women have with their bodies - based on conversations with women from all over the world.

The Cast: Looking for women of all ethnicity, ages, shapes, and sizes.

Woman 1: plays multiple characters of varying ages and dialects

Woman 2: plays multiple characters of varying ages and dialects

Pay: $800 stipend for in-person rehearsals and performances; $500 should the show instead be presented virtually

Time Commitment:
Rehearsal Schedule: July 20, 2020 - August 20, 2020 (Some rehearsals may be on the north side if this is convenient for the actors.)

Tech Week: August 16-19, 2020

Performances: Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 7:30pm
Friday, August 21, 2020 at 7:30pm
Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 7:30pm
Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 2:30pm

Material To Prepare:
Prepare a 90 second monologue of your choice OR a side from the script. Script and sides will be provided once you have an audition appointment.
