THE HEBREW HAMILTON - Seeking Dancers/Physical Theatre Performers Shalom! We are casting 10 dancers/actors for a physical theatre music video, 'The Hebrew Hamilton'. The four-minute music video will be shot in 6.5 hours at The Pico Playhouse, LA 90035, on Sunday 8th March between 8.30am-4pm. The day will be fun, fast and focused. It's from the team who bought you 'Livin' La Vida Kosher' https://youtu.be/bpqA0h2MlBA. FILMING: Sun 8th March 8am-4pm REHEARSAL: Thurs 5th March 6pm-10pm While there is no official pay, here is what we can offer you in return! - Travel Expenses ($20 per day, $40 Total) - Dinner at rehearsal - Breakfast & Lunch on filming day - 2 x private “Yoga for Dancers” classes in groups of 4, worth $250! - Raw footage of your best scenes in the filming on request - Rough cut of your best scenes for your showreel on request *** This four-minute video describes the story of Moses and how he helped liberate the Children of Israel from their slavery in Egypt. You will be part of the general assembly, and certain roles will be assigned, eg the Princess of Egypt, Pharaoh, Children of Israel. The specific parts will be finalized from the ensemble closer to the shoot date, however this casting is for the complete ensemble. *** 20 to 36 years old, all ethnicities male or female. We are looking for some good movers - people who are actors and dancers. This is a physical theatre piece - it is an ensemble music video. Here is our last music video Livin' La Vida Kosher. *** This is the story of Moses fighting Pharaoh, and the liberation of the Children of Israel from Egypt. It is fast, fun, upbeat and based on the opening song of 'Hamilton'.
