Violet Surprise announces a second installment of SapphFest for Pride Month!
SapphFest: Pride Edition is a virtual variety show presented with L-oquence -- though not to the exclusion of other letters in our deliciously queer alphabet soup!
This digital celebration will include individuals who are BIPOC, people of all abilities, and the non-binary community.
Your performance may consist of singing, dancing, acting, storytelling, instrument-playing, stand-up, spoken word, poetry, or even a play reading.
SapphFest: Pride Edition will be live-streamed over Zoom on Thursday, June 25, at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m. Central Time. Each performer will be given up to 10 minutes to perform on one of the two days.
Time Commitment:
Performers will rehearse independently, with the exception of those presenting short plays. Tech is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Performers are required to be present for tech only during their agreed-upon time slot.
