Moving Bench Theatre is now accepting video submissions for their new One-Act play, CONNECTION ERROR. This will be a filmed performance. All rehearsals and filming will be done remotely from your home. Reliable internet connection needed.

CONNECTION ERROR explores the need for genuine human connection amid the sea of disconnects that fill our days while trying to maneuver the current technological landscape. Through a series of vignettes, this play explores the interwoven relationships of five people and the ripple effect of their virtual interactions. Written to utilize a remote audience, this play asks the question: In a time with the most progressive technological advances built to keep us connected, why are we left feeling more isolated than ever before?

Time Commitment:
Rehearsals will take place over Zoom. Rehearsals will be scheduled around performer's conflicts.
Rehearsal period: July 6-17
Filming period: July 18-24

Project will be released in late August.

Video Submission. Contemporary monologue not to exceed 2 minutes.
Accepting video submissions until June 30th.
