Description:
MadKap Productions seeks African/American female actor for the role of Mrs. Muller: The mother of Donald Muller, the school's first black student in our upcoming production of "Doubt" by John Patrick Shanley, to be presented as the first production in MadKap Productions' altered subscription series. All other roles are cast. Most of the rehearsal process will take place on Zoom, if accessible to all.
MadKap/Skokie Theatre will be seating a maximum of 40 audience members, and will be following all of Illinois Guidelines for safe reopening. Documents can be provided upon request to insure the safety of all concerned.
MadKap Productions produces at the Skokie Theatre, located at 7924 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL and within walking distance of the CTA Yellow Line and Bus # 97. We offer free parking at all times.
Seeking:
Age range 35 - 50, African American woman
Pay: Stipend - $20/performance
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals to begin late July via Zoom (when accessible)
Two weeks rehearsal at the Skokie Theatre - August 31, 2020 thru September 11, 2020 (opening night)
Performances will be Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday matinee with one Wednesday matinee.
Closing date: October 4.
