point2productions, a division of Schaumburg On Stage, is gearing up for a late summer community production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Slated for production in Elgin September 10th through 13th, we are preparing for a limited audience live performance. Initial auditions will be done by video submission with in-person callbacks conducted with heightened social distancing and safety in mind.
Auditions are open to those 18 years of age and older. There is no participation fee or stipend. Some costume pieces may need to be self provided.
Callbacks will be held the week of July 6th by invitation only at our Schaumburg On Stage/point2productions studios at 1925 Wright Blvd. in Schaumburg, Illinois. Rehearsals will run four or five nights per week from 6 to 10 p.m. A combination of virtual and in-person rehearsals may be used.
