Description:

Waywards Sisters is looking for actors to participate in our Workshop for Love Ben, Love Emma by Lynn Rogoff. The Workshop will take place in August with the final recording going live the first weekend in September. Due to Co-Vid 19 the festival will be pre-recorded and then live streamed. All the rehearsals and the performance will be virtual. We are seeking actors for the following:

Character Breakdowns:

DR. BEN REITMAN A tall, dark, handsome,large man. (Age 25- 45) Ben requires a swagger, ladies man, and a raconteur who is confident in his ability to charm any girl and any crowd.

EMMA GOLDMAN A small, blondish, light eyed woman. (Age 25-45) Emma has to have a strong voice, can do a slight accent and a feminine side, which experiences sensual awakenings. She is bold, fearless, and one of a kind.

ALEXANDER BERKMAN A strong-willed, intense, intellectual man with an inner strength. (Age 36-46) He is an existentialist, a dark brooding man.

ENSEMBLE: Five people, each cast in multiple roles throughout the show (Ages 20-70)

*** Please note that characters do not have to match the historical figure, but instead capture the spirit and essence of them. All races, and genders are invited and encouraged to audition!

Time Commitment:
Rehearsals will take place in August with the performance starting live stream in September. All rehearsals and recordings will take place virtually.
