Description:
PullSpark is a full-service production and event management company based in Atlanta, Georgia that has been tasked with producing the annual Global Leadership Summit (global leadership.org) as a completely online event this year. It will be produced at Willow Creek Church in Chicago and simulcast across the country. They have subcontracted PullSpark to serve as a casting director for this project.
Description
Seeking a dynamic Black female actor (age range 35-50) to embody a narrative piece, essentially a story-driven monologue centered around educator, author, motivational speaker and pastor Dr. Katurah York Cooper, who currently resides in Monrovia, Liberia. It will be a full-embodied performance for camera but with as much theatrical sensibility as possible (aliveness in body, etc.). The piece will be captured and simulcast "live".
Details
Dates: Rehearsal on August 5th, Time TBD (possibility of another short rehearsal earlier, possibly on the 4th, for tech considerations).
Performance on EITHER August 6th or 7th, Time TBD. The schedule of programming is still being ironed out, so having some flexibility for both days is recommended until an actual time is settled upon. Details will be updated as new information comes in.
Location - Willow Creek Church (verifying whether it is at the South Barrington campus or the Chicago campus)
Compensation: $1800. Because this is for a new media situation (not theatre, not film/tv/commercial), there shouldn't need to be a special contract associated with this unless the actor is currently a SAG member, at which point we would craft a New Media Agreement to cover the work.
