Project Title | Seeking Performer for Podcast Episode |
Description:
Are you an actor looking for something fun to do during this pandemic?
Are you looking for ways to connect with other artists?
Then we have the opportunity for you! We're seeking a performer for the second episode of First Time for Everyone, a brand-new podcast where writers share and discuss their earliest works and where their artistic journeys have taken them (find a link to our first episode below).
DETAILS:
We're looking for a female-identified actor of color to perform "The Special Child," a monologue by Chicago-based playwright and poet Timothy Rey. The character is a pre-teen girl, so emerging or student actors are more than welcome to apply!
Since we are a brand-new venture and still building our listener base, we're unfortunately unable to pay our performers at this time, but this would be a short one-day time commitment of a maximum of 30 minutes.
