The Kirk Players announces open auditions for our virtual production of "The Human Kind", a collection of three short, humorous plays performed streaming live on YouTube on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 7:30pm. The plays include "Curtain Calls" by Charles Alverson, "How He Lied to Her Husband" by George Bernard Shaw, and "Cinema Limbo" by Wade Bradford.
Open auditions for our virtual production will be held on Monday, October 12th and Wednesday, October 14th from 7-9pm CST. Invited callbacks will be scheduled live on Zoom and held on Thursday, October 15th from 7-9pm CST.
Seeking actors of all backgrounds for principal positions. We strongly encourage performers of all ethnicities, ages, sizes, genders, and abilities.
Time Commitment:
Oct. 19th through Dec. 3rd - Rehearsals 3 times a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, via Zoom. Rehearsal only on Monday of the week of Thanksgiving.
December 5, 2020 at 7:30pm CST Performance, one night only
Details: The actors will be filming live from their own homes. They need to ensure they have a reliable internet connection and a small area of their home within which to perform.
