Description:

Pegasus Theatre is having open auditions for the 34th Young Playwrights Festival.

Seeking an ensemble of 6-7 actors total to be a part of the following productions (PLEASE NOTE: Casting breakdowns pertain to the characters, not actors. We are open to any and all actors for consideration of roles):

Containment - As Ohio invades neighboring states and spreading like a plague, the Centers for Disease Control sends armed rapid response teams to the Illinois border to contain the threat. 2 leads (gender non-specific), 4-5 ensemble (gender non-specific).

A Lady's Facade - Hayley, a recently fired arts historian, tries to earn her job back after making a great discovery about the secret behind the Mona Lisa that will change history. 4 Female-identifying, 2 Male-identifying.

These Glass Lives - A young man breaks into an older man's house seeking refuge from the police who are actively pursuing him. 3 Male-Identifying.

All rehearsals and performances will be over Zoom, with the final production being recorded for broadcast.

34th Young Playwrights Festival Schedule:
Rehearsals: Nov 1-29 (off Thanksgiving and Black Friday) - each show rehearses 2x per week*. Expect 1 or 2 Sundays for full runs of all 3 plays.
Recording Dates: Nov 30- Dec 6*.
