Graham Smith Acting Fellowship
In honor of the memory of beloved company member Graham Smith, People’s Light is proud to announce the inaugural Graham Smith Acting Fellowship.
People’s Light will provide comprehensive support for one outstanding early to mid-career actor who has demonstrated a commitment to a career in the theater. Applicants must be curious, generous, eager to learn and excited to immerse themselves fully in the life of an award-winning regional theater. The Fellowship will guarantee at least one role and understudy roles in our 22/23 Season, mentorship from senior artists, and significant contact with actors, directors, designers, administrators, and teachers. This is a full-time position which runs August 2022 through May 2023. Female identifying Latinx diaspora artists who have completed an undergraduate or graduate or non-degree professional actor training program are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation Package Includes:
• $625/week through payroll
• Free onsite studio apartment with a shared bathroom
• One guaranteed role & understudying opportunities in the 22/23 season on AEA contract

To Be Eligible For Consideration, Applicants Must:
• Have completed a course of study in acting training (undergraduate, graduate or formal non-degree)
• Demonstrate a proven commitment to acting at their profession
• Relocate to People’s Light in Malvern, Pennsylvania for the length of the fellowship
