Description:
Towle Theater seeks strong singer/actors 21 years old and up for its upcoming holiday musical A Fabulous 50's Christmas. Directed by Jeff Casey. All ethnicities strongly encouraged to audition. Performance Dates are December 2-4, 9-11, 16-18. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater in Hammond, IN.
Covid Precautions:
To ensure a creative work environment that's safe and void of stress and anxiety associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, you must provide proof that you are fully vaccinated to audition. "Fully vaccinated," is defined as more than 14 days following receipt of a final dose and booster shot.
Audition Date: Saturday, September 17 from 10:00am-3:00pm
Audition Location:
Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL 60657. South side of Belmont, between Lakewood and Racine. Located just a few blocks west of the Belmont Red/Brown/Purple stop also accessible via the #77 Belmont bus. As mandates continue to change, please have a mask with you in case it is required by Theater Wit.

Show Description:
A Fabulous 50's Christmas is an original show of wholesome family entertainment that captures the spirit and joy of Christmas just as the Perry Como and Andy Williams TV Christmas specials did from years gone by.
Pay: $600
Company meeting the last week in September & rehearsals will begin in October (max 3-4 rehearsals per week). Performance Dates are December 2-4, 9-11, 16-18. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater in Hammond, IN.
Please prepare 32 bars of a Christmas Song written prior to 1960. Have a contrasting piece ready if asked. Provide sheet music in the correct key. No acapella or taped accompaniment. You may be asked to read from a commercial script.
