AUDITIONS Sunday 8/14 at South Camden Theatre Company for Michael Hollinger’s gleeful dark comedy, INCORRUPTIBLE, directed by Drucie McDaniel. The play incorporates dry, witty wordplay, turning on a dime to bawdy physical comedy, requiring depth and range for all roles. Some ages are flexible; actors of all types, ethnicities, and gender identities are strongly urged to apply.
Open Roles:
BROTHER MARTIN (Late 30’s- late 40’s) - Second in command, joined the clergy for less noble reasons. More interested in own comfort and status than serving the poor and afflicted; more likely to look out for himself than others; more cold than compassionate; no problem using less than Christ-like methods to get what he wants.
BROTHER FELIX (20’s -early 30’s) - A novice. Earnest, truthful, sweet; disappointed in love, but now dedicated to his work.
JACK (Late 20’s- mid 30’s) - A one-eyed minstrel. True to his name, a knave of all trades -singer, juggler, joketeller, grifter. Charming, irreverent, and completely untrustworthy; the prototype for why future boarding houses will state No Theatricals Allowed.
