Porchlight Music Theatre is seeking non-union submissions for the role of "Kat" for our upcoming production of ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME.
SEEKING
Open to all ethnicities, genders and ability (18+). Seeking Chicago local hires only, We encourage Trans and Gender Non-Conforming performers to submit for any roles they are interested in; genders listed are those of the character, not the performer.

Pay:
$2000 rehearsal stipend + $50 per performance
Character Breakdown/Description:
Kat - Female, a sleep-deprived single mom who struggles to balance her family and career as a video game music composer. Plays advanced violin, keyboard and some banjo.
Production Dates:
1st Rehearsal, Week of April 17, 2023
1st Performance, Sat, May 6, 2023

Note: This track requires that you play the violin, piano and some banjo, however, we only require hearing violin in this submission.
