The Theater Lab is a friendly, collaborative-minded company and encourages performers of all backgrounds and experience to audition.
Auditions for our original play, A Christmas Carol II: The Present Strikes Back, will take place Tuesday, September, 20, and Wednesday, September 21, 2022, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Callbacks will take place by invitation only on Thursday, September 22, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
To ensure a smooth audition experience, you will be provided with an audition time slot and sides for the audition after completing our online audition form at https://forms.gle/VsCTjDgsfMe98BSDA. You will be required to provide your name, contact information, roles you may be interested in playing (descriptions are included in the form), and any known conflicts. You'll also have the opportunity to share your resume, headshot, and any other information you'd like us to know.
After submitting your completed audition form, you will receive confirmation of your audition time slot along with sides for the audition no later than Monday, September 19, 2022.
Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at:
Forest View Educational Center
2121 S Goebbert Rd
Arlington Heights, IL
Auditions are scheduled in half hour blocks from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on September 20 and 21 with callbacks on Thursday, September 22, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Performances will be:
December 9 at 7:30 p.m
December 10 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m
December 11 at 3:00 p.m
Rehearsals are scheduled to start the week of October 16 and will be held weekday evenings with some weekend afternoons. Technical rehearsals are required for all actors. We will be following all guidelines for a safe environment, and will align with CDC and District 214 guidelines to ensure health and safety for all.
