OMG! Studios is currently accepting submissions for a workshop of plays for TV Guide: A Play
Festival. In this workshop we will be working through the second Episode. The workshop for
Episodes 2 will be directed by Ang Bey with Dramaturgy from TBD.
ACTORS
We are seeking 13 non-union actors for each workshop to develop Episodes 2 of three different
Series being produced for the festival. Actors will be working on all of the scripts in a variety of
roles and forms. Compensation: $150
For your submission, please submit a headshot/front-facing photo, resume, and video recording
using one of the sides linked in the Google Form from which you came.
STAGE MANAGERS
We are seeking a Stage Manager for Workshop #2. Please send your resume to

subject line of the email. Compensation: $200
What is TV GUIDE: A Play Festival?
TV Guide: A Play Festival is a 3 day episodic experiment where we take three plays and turn them
into Series. From there each Series will be presented as three Episodes (or three 1 Acts) for a total
of 9 Episodes. These Series all take place in the same universe but stretch over different times and
locations with the goal being they all meet at the Finale (last day of the Festival).
We are creating stories by Black Femmes for the future of us. Centering the narratives of legacy,
release, and magical connection with a global majority cast, opens up opportunities for more
global majority creatives to engage in a working world made for them. It opens an opportunity to
grapple with change and doom with a community over a period of time.

When are rehearsals?
Rehearsals will take place in-person in Philadelphia, PA. Workshop #2 will have rehearsals
November 12-17, 2022 with a “Tech Day” and Reading on November 18. Exact times and
location are currently TBA. Actors will be called for no longer than 5 hours a day or 20 hours a
week.
What about COVID-19?
We will be requiring all actors and production team on-site to be fully vaccinated. Everyone must
have proof of vaccination and ID by first rehearsal. Temperature checks will also be completed at
the start of every rehearsal.
Who will be attending the Readings?
All ticketed and invited guests are allowed to attend the Readings on November 18. We do require
proof of vaccination and ID to attend and ask that all patrons wear their masks at all times.
