Description:

The Artistic Home is seeking to the fill the following roles for our upcoming production of the dark comedy DYING FOR IT by Moira Buffini, directed by Monica Payne.

Semyon Semyonovich: (he/him) late 20s, looking for actors of any ethnicity to apply. BIPOC actors especially encouraged to submit. Comedic role and must be able to move well. Character goes under beds, out windows, etc. No dialect required.

Stepan and Oleg (will double as musicians): roles are open to all genders and ethnicities. Stepan and Oleg are undertakers and should be able to carry in a coffin. Instruments we are looking for include: Guitar (acoustic), fiddle, cello, accordion, clarinet, voice. Musicians play throughout one party scene and will be playing during act breaks. No dialect required.

Pay: $500 Stipend

All rehearsals will take place at The Artistic Home studio space at 3054 N. Milwaukee.

All performances will take place at THE DEN THEATRE.
