The Yellow Rose Theater is seeking actors for their upcoming Immersive Sketch show - T. V. Land

T.V. Land The Yellow Rose Theater is seeking actors for their upcoming production of "T. V. Land" part of our unique "Immersive Sketch" shows where we perform shorter comedic plays in an immersive environment. These evenings create a casual and open environment for the audience to watch the show while enjoying appetizers and drinks. Within a theatrical setting, the actors create a comfortable and friendly presence with the audience. Performers will be cast in approximately 3 - 5-10 minute pieces (with the potential of covering a 4th piece if needed).

We are seeking diverse actors comfortable portraying a variety of characters. The Yellow Rose ensemble strives to be a playful and comfortable work environment and approaches all shows with a collective artistic approach. Our desire is to find performers who are excited to join in this creative process.

Pay: $400

SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ACTORS:

Male - Any age - We are seeking performers of all ethnicities for this track but BIPOC performers are encouraged to apply.

Female - (18-50) We are looking for BIPOC females only for this track.

Auditions Location: Green Shirt Studio -Ravenswood
Rehearsal Location: Wicker Park
Performances: (Location TBD, but accessible via public transportation)

Actors who are given an audition slot will be sent a selection of sides and asked to choose two. While many of the characters appear to conform to traditional gender norms, we encourage people to audition for any role they wish. Please do not feel constrained by age or gender. We want to see who you are and what you connect to!
