Description:
Lyric Opera of Chicago is looking for 2 black teen-aged boy volunteer supernumeraries for its World Premiere production of Proximity.
The rehearsal and performance period for PROXIMITY is Wednesday, March 1 - Saturday, April 8, 2023.
Volunteer Supers receive $25.00 per service, whether the service is a rehearsal or performance.
Evening and Weekend availability is required.
Due to COVID‐19, Lyric has currently implemented a mandatory vaccination policy. If cast, you must provide proof of vaccination, including booster shots if eligible. We will keep you updated if the policy changes.
Seeking
2 Black, teen‐aged, male‐presenting VOLUNTEER SUPERNUMERARIES (Supers) between 12 and 15 years old. These are non‐speaking, non‐singing roles. These characters represent teens who are gang leaders on Chicago's South Side. Candidates should be serious and able to convey emotions without speaking.
