Description:
The Jones Classical Theatre Company is building a resident ensemble of actors that we can build our seasons around.
Our Expectations:
- participate in at least two shows per season in some creative capacity (acting, directing, dramaturgy, text coaching, etc)
- participate in virtual fundraising efforts
- act as teaching artists virtually or in person (compensated)
Things To Know:
- Much of our work will take place in Wisconsin; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; and Orlando, FL
- Transportation and housing will always be covered/provided
- Each opportunity will likely require 10-12 hours of virtual table work preceding first rehearsal OR 10-12 hours of volunteer marketing (such as pop-up performances and community work)
- The compensation will range from $300-$500 per rehearsal week
- Our mission is to support early career theatre artists, non-union theatre artists, and theatre educators

- Be no longer than 90 seconds

Where you're located
What plays your monologues come from
Who wrote those plays
- Include you sharing 2 contrasting monologues (one comedic and one dramatic), one of which must be Shakespeare. The other monologue should be from a play written before 1960.
