Description:
Recent Cutbacks is seeking an actor to be a swing for their Spring-Summer production of Hold On To Your Butts at iO Theater. Ideal candidates will have strong backgrounds in comedy, improv, and/or physical theater. The production will be directed by Kristin McCarthy Parker (Puffs).
The show is a live "shot-for-shot" parody of Jurassic Park featuring just two actors and a sound/foley artist. Recent Cutbacks is a critically-acclaimed comedy company based in NYC. This will be their third time bringing HOTYB to Chicago, and the first time it will be cast with local talent.
The swing will cover both actors' tracks in the show. You can view a highlight reel of the NYC show HERE.

Pay: $550 (rehearsal + retainer, $100/show if performing)

Rehearsals - Thursday, May 11, 2023 - Thursday, May 18, 2023
Show Dates: Fridays from May 19, 2023 through June 30, 2023 (7 shows). All shows are at 8pm.
