Description:
This summer, Goodly Creatures Theatre is excited to produce Shakespeare's classic Love's Labour's Lost for our annual, locally touring Shakespeare in the Park Series!
Auditions will take place at Etc Coworking's Main Conference Room from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, April 13th, and Friday, April 14th. Etc Coworking is located at 11 Douglas Avenue, Second Floor, Elgin, IL 60120. Please register ahead of time for casting consideration: www.goodlycreatures.com/audition.
We will be hosting both in-person and virtual auditions this April. You may attend more than once. We ask that you submit the registration form in order to be considered for the cast. There is a button to access the form on our website (www.goodlycreatures.com/audition).

Please note that your personal information is NOT shared with any third parties outside of Goodly Creatures Theatre.
In Person Auditions: Be prepared for readings from the script. Sides will be sent out no later than a week prior to the first in-person audition date (April 13th).
Virtual Auditions: Please submit a video recording of your performance of one monologue from any of Shakespeare's plays. If you have a website or reels, feel free to include links to those in your email submission. Video auditions are due Sunday, April 16th at 9pm. Please send your virtual audition to info@goodlycreatures.com with the subject line "[First and Last Name]: Shakespeare Audition]".

Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg: Thursday, June 22nd at 7pm
Cantigny Park in Wheaton: Thursday, July 6th at 7pm
Island Park in Geneva: Saturday, August 5th at 6pm (Rain Date is August 12th)
Lord's Park in Elgin: August 13th at 3pm
Wing Park in Elgin: August 26th at 6pm
Please note that we will have a private performance to allow swings the opportunity to perform for friends, family, and other interested parties. This performance date is TBD.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will take place Monday through Thursday from 7pm to 9pm, beginning May 1st. Please note that you will not be required to attend all rehearsals, as a schedule will be made to accommodate absences, and will be organized based on scenes we're rehearsing and who is necessary for those scenes.
Tech week will be Sunday, June 18th through Wednesday June 21st.
Rehearsals will be held in Dundee, IL, approximately 5 minutes from the 1-90 Exit (approximately 45 minutes from O'Hare). Location will be shared with cast and crew.
Compensation:
Every ensemble member will be paid a $125 stipend upon completion of the performance run.
