Location: iO Theatre , 1501 N Kingsbury St, Chicago, IL 60642
Saturday, 5/6 will be in The Weed & Monday, 5/8 will be in The Kingsbury
Please prepare a short monologue (2 minutes or less) from one of Jane Austen's novels or a stage/film adaptation of her work. We ask that you select a monologue that demonstrates period language and perform with a British dialect (your best attempt - perfection is not expected!). It can be a male or female character and can combine/cut dialogue if you cannot find a long enough monologue to your taste.
After your monologue, there will be a few minutes of group improvising with current members of the team. This may include both regular and Austen-style improvisation.
Please bring a hard copy of your H/R to auditions. We are looking forward to a formal introduction!
