THE MAMA AND THE PAPA GOOSE: A mash up of Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes and The Mamas and The Papas era music. A "mockumentary" about the life and times of the most infamous power band in Fableland history. This show runs JULY 8th - AUGUST 27th on Saturdays and Sundays, with a 6PM showtime/5:15 call.
Seeking:
Actor/Musicians, ages 12+ who can play a portable instrument, to play a variety of bold, playful characters, written to suit each actor. Artists in this show should thrive in an environment that encourages interaction and improv, within and the cast and with the audience.

ANNE OF GREEN GABLES: A classic retelling of the beloved book by LM Montgomery. This show runs SEPTEMBER 23rd - OCTOBER 22nd Saturdays and Sundays, with a 4PM showtime/3:15 call.
Seeking actors for the following roles:
Marilla - Age 50s+. Matthew Cuthbert's unmarried sister. Stoic. Surprised by her own heart and humanity, as revealed through her relationship with Anne.
Mrs. Lynde - Age 40s+. Best "friend" of Marilla. Judgmental and gossipy but ultimately of good humor, with a heart under it all.
Miss Stacy - Age 20s +. Vivacious, brilliant and inspiring. Arrives as the new schoolmaster, becomes mentor and confidante to Anne.
Diana - Age mid-teens. Intelligent, poised and best bosom friend to Anne. Lovely in spirit and a devoted, patient companion.
Gilbert - Age mid-teens. Extremely bright, mischievous and charming. A schoolmate who becomes Anne's first romantic attraction...much to her chagrin.
Ensemble - Young Artists and Adults who will play multiple roles, cover others, and help lead the audience.
SUBMISSIONS FOR ANNE OF GREEN GABLES ARE DUE MONDAY, JUNE 5th BY 5PM.
Pay: $500 stipend for artists 18 and older, $100 stipend for young artists, under 18.
Rehearsals begin approximately one month prior to the opening of each production. Rehearsals are typically on Thursday evenings, 6-9PM, at Madison Street Theatre in Oak Park, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4PM, at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. Not everyone is called every day and we do our best to accommodate agreed upon rehearsal conflicts. Even if you have conflicts with the typical rehearsal times, we encourage you to submit and let us know about your time constraints, so we can see if accommodation is possible.
