Description:
His Production Entertainment is holding auditions for Beggars and Bums. A comedy stage play that will be held at the Raven Theatre Friday August 18th and Saturday August 19th, 2023. We are seeking a multi-ethnic cast of 6 men and 5 women. All parts are available.
Beggars and Bums is a lighthearted comedy that sheds light on the misconception that all beggars and bums are homeless. The stipend for this project is $200 in completion of the project. We are looking for fun, flexible somewhat experienced actors to join the project.
Auditions will be held at the Kroc Corps Community Center, 1250 West 119th St. Chicago IL.
Rehearsals and Show:
Rehearsals will be as follows:
Week One:
Monday July 31st, Tuesday August 1st, Thursday August 3rd, 6:30p.m. - 8:30p.m. at the Kroc Corps Community Center, 1250 West 119th St. Chicago IL.
Week Two:
Monday August 7th, Tuesday August 8th, Wednesday 9th, 6:30p.m. - 9:00p.m. at the Raven Theatre, 6157 North Clark, Chicago IL.60660
Week Three:
Tech and Dress:
Tuesday August 15, Wednesday August 16th, Thursday 17th, 6:30p.m. - 9:00p.m. at the Raven Theatre, 6157 North Clark, Chicago IL. 60660
Performance: Friday August 18th and Saturday August 19th, 7:30p.m. at the Raven Theater
Please come prepared to do a 1-2 minute Monologue of your choice.
