Description:
PrideArts is looking for an Assistant Stage Manager for their upcoming production of the new musical Gay Card.
Gay Card, by the emerging team of Ryan Korell (music) and Jonathan Keebler (book and lyrics) follows a college freshman named Logan who desperately wants to fit in with the gay crowd at his school and earn his "gay card" by convincing his housemates that he is indeed "awesome enough to be gay."
Rehearsals, which have already begun, are Monday - Friday 630p-10p and Saturday 10a-2p. Load-in/tech begins Aug 7; previews will be Aug 24 - Aug 27; opening on Aug 28; closes Sept 24. Show times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 730p and Sunday at 3p.
The stipend is $525. Your start date will be determined by the Stage Manager.
Gay Card is a big show - cast of 12 with multiple costume changes. The ideal candidate will have experience with shows of this size.
