Citadel Theatre is having auditions for their winter TYA show: Eleanor's Very Merry Christmas Wish, written by Denise McGowan Tracy & Kathleen Butler-Duplessis, and directed by Gregg Dennhardt.
Show Description: A holiday musical with heart, humor and eight original songs, Eleanor's Very Merry Christmas Wish - The Musical tells the story of a rag doll who lives in the magical world of the North Pole surrounded by Santa, Mrs. Claus, Clara Claus and the elves Twinkle, Sprinkle and Sparkle. She loves her North Pole family but Eleanor's wish is for a best friend and home of her own.
Character Breakdown:
Eleanor - A rag doll who wants a forever home.
Santa Claus - The jolly old elf that everyone knows.
Mrs. "Cookie" Claus - Santa's loving wife and quite the cookie connoisseur.
Twinkle the Elf - The Narrator and TOP VIE (Very IMPORTANT ELF).
Sprinkle - A second Very Important Elf, like the name says ...always on top of things.
Sparkle - A third Very Important Elf, like the name says ...always a shining star.
Clara Claus - Santa's cousin; in charge of the Naughty or Nice List.
Noelle - "The" little girl in need of a best friend.

Pay: $100 Rehearsal Stipend Plus $20 Per Performance
Show runs Dec. 20 – Dec. 31, 2023. Rehearsals begin Sunday, November 26th, 2023.
Please prepare a one minute monologue and a 16-bar cut of an uptempo musical theatre selection. An accompanist will not be present; please prepare to sing acappella.
