ABOUT THE PLAY:
When Agnes finds her late sister Tilly's Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly's refuge.
This high-octane dramatic comedy is laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres and '90s pop culture that offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek within us all.
THE PRODUCTION:
This is a live production in front of an audience. Rehearsals will be held on campus with most rehearsals occurring in Sherman Hall.
CASTING:
Casting a dynamic and diverse ensemble of 9 creative performers-students and non-students, alumni, faculty and staff, novices and veterans. Versatile performers with comic and dramatic sensibilities, a love for storytelling, and a penchant for the surreal are highly encouraged to audition.
*This is a non-paying production.
First round of auditions will be held in-person in Sherman Hall at Governors State University on Monday, September 25th and Tuesday, September 26th. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, September 27th in Sherman Hall.
Performance dates: November 2nd- 5th at Governors State University's Sherman Hall
* Final two dress rehearsals will occur in Sherman Hall the morning of November 1st-2nd. Local high schools will be invited to attend.
Auditioners will be sent a short text from the show to perform
