Description:
After camp counselor Liz Evans is sacrificed in a satanic ritual by someone she thought was her friend, she descends into Hell, tethered to a demon with the appearance of a teenage girl. Together they babysit the Antichrist and confront the consequences of Liz's sacrifice, which brought another friend back from the dead. The Girls' Guide to Friends and Demons is a modern reimagining of Faust and a dark comedy about female friendship. This staged reading will be the first in-person performance of the script, which was previously developed at Northwestern University.

5-8 Hours total of rehearsal over the two weeks leading up to the performance. Schedules TBD based on actor availability. Rehearsals will likely take place in Andersonville, Chicago.
Performances at 7:30pm on 11/9 and 11/10 at 922 N Damen Ave, Chicago.
