The Albright Community Theatre is holding auditions for: The Desk Set by William Marchant. Directed by Ayden Lopez.

This is an open call audition consisting of cold readings from the script. NO audition appointment is necessary. No monologue required.

Punch your time card and join Bunny Watson and her encyclopedic knowledge of facts and figures in this comedic romp. Bunny works in a television network reference department, but when electronic brains are installed to do the work of people and soon begin to replace whole departments, Bunny and her office girls face off with the supercomputer in a game of wits -- causing information overload and blown fuses!

The Desk Set is a telling comedy rich in hilarity for anyone who has ever worked in an office. The filing cabinets are packed full of humor, a little office gossip, some romance, and a whole lot of confusion. Will the office recover and get the true story before the computers take over and leave the whole company out of a job?? Tune in to find out!
