Pay: $750 Stipend
ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER
-The breakdown of the Assistant Stage Manager's duties will be decided together with the Stage Manager. An addendum to the contract will be added once the details of this are agreed upon. (Duties during rehearsal may include: Keeping attendance, editing and adding to stage management related documents, line notes, planning, preparing, and organizing the backstage; duties during performance may include: checking and setting set pieces, costumes, props, running the backstage, communicating actor or crew concerns to the Stage Manager, sweeping, mopping, assisting with laundry).
-Reports to the Stage Manager
-Attends all rehearsals
-Participates in a dialogue with the Producers in order to organize the text workshop and schedule each rehearsal
-Stage manages the text workshop: keeps attendance, notes any changes to the script, manages breaks
-Before the rehearsal process begins participates in a dialogue with the Stage Manager and Director in order to plan the set up of the space
-Together with the Stage Manager, responsible for set up breakdown and management of all rehearsals
-Together with Stage Manager responsible for the organization and running of all tech rehearsals -Together with Stage Manager responsible for set up and running of each performance
-Attends Production Meetings when necessary
-Reads and adheres to Chicago Theater Standards guidelines
-Serves on the Concern Resolution Path and helps to resolve conflict

Tech: April 22 - April 26, 2024
Final Dress Rehearsal: April 26, 2024
Previews: April 27 - 28, 2024
Opening: April 29, 2024
Regular Performances: May 1 - 11, 2024
Closing: May 12, 2024
