Corn Productions is seeking actors of all identities, with a vested interest in POC and LGBTQIA+ actors, for our next ensemble show, UnShucked Mysteries: An Unsolved Mysteries Sketch Show

UnShucked Mysteries takes the beloved, and nightmare-inducing, series Unsolved Mysteries and puts our own Corn twist on things. The show will comprise of sketches making up the "segments" of our episode to tell the "real" stories of perplexing disappearances, shocking murders, and paranormal encounters all hosted by our very own discount Robert Stack. Playing into the over-dramatic reenactments and outlandish storytelling of the original series this spine-chilling comedy plans to be a fast-paced romp and pointed look at the cultural obsession of true crime.

We are looking for actors of all race, ethnicity, gender, orientation and type. This will be an ensemble-based sketch show with actors all playing multiple characters throughout. We are looking for performers who bring bold choices and are not afraid to get silly with it. The show will deal with adult themes and at times some sensitive material that will be handled with the utmost respect.

COMPENSATION: Minimum $100 stipend with possibility of making more

AUDITIONS: Auditions will be Saturday, February 10th from Noon to 3 PM in 5 minute slots. Callbacks will be Sunday, February from 11am-1pm

LOCATION: Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will all take place at Cornservatory Theatre at 4210 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60618
